Care Specialist can provide one on one assistance to support participants to achieve their individual goals of Accommodation / Tenancy such as helping participants to overcome barriers that widely impact a current tenancy or helping participants explore and get alternative housing.
Depending on individual goals and circumstances case planning and practical assistance and support can include:
- Assisting participants to develop or redefining housing goals.
- Identifying and applying strategies to keep current tenancies
- Liaising with real estate agents, DHHS, or proprietors to identify obstacles to maintaining at-risk tenancies.
- Assisting with private-based rental applications.
- Exploring other alternative housing applications.
- Assisting with budgeting.
- Supporting and Assisting to obtain DHHS Bond Loan and necessary household items.
- Building capacity to get sustainable accommodation with superior independence
